Burning Permits: You must be issued a burning permit for any kind of burning in the Town of Rushford, otherwise you stand the chance of being charged if the Fire Department has to be called. The permits are free and you may contact any of the board members or the Town Clerk to have one issued to you. You will find the contact information on the Contact Us link. The DNR is phasing out these special burn permits. The Township still has them at this time, but we will eventually phase to online permits. The Clerk will be able to issue these for you or you may go online yourself.
You may obtain an annual burn permit from the DNR online. After printing out, please add the Com Center phone number (920-236-7300) to alert the Fire Department that you will be burning. Click HERE for online permit.
