Resolution for Adoption of the Revised Rushford Zoning Ordinance and
Creation of the Rushford Subdivision Ordinance. Whereas, in 2004, the Town
of Rushford adopted a Comprehensive Plan that included a number of goals
and objectives to maintain the town's rural character while allowing limited land
development, and Whereas, the Comprehensive Plan's Implementation
Element identified a need to revise the Town's Zoning ordinance and creation
of a Subdivision Ordinance to carry out the land use goals, objectives, and
policies identified in the Comprehensive Plan,
Whereas, a Special Committee made up of the Planning and Zoning
Committee, Town Board, and Concerned Citizens, have held a series of
meetings to review and make changes to the Rushford Zoning Ordinance and
have written a new Subdivison Ordinance, in accordance with the
Comprehensive Plan's land use goals, objectives, and policies, and
Whereas the Planning and Zoning Committee will hold a Public Hearing on both
the revised Zoning Ordinance and New Subdivision Ordinance on MONDAY,
APRIL 18, 2005, at 7 PM in the Waukau Community Youth Center, 2711 State
Rd. 116, Waukau, Wisc.
Therefore, following the Public Hearing, The Planning and Zoning Committee
may recommend the revised Zoning Ordinance and the New Subdivision
Ordinance(with possible amendments) to the Rushford Town Board for their
consideration and adoption.
